American Planning Association Spring Institute 2020 – Equitable Development
As Michigan’s economy recovers, not everyone is benefiting equally from the uptick in development. Community planners must balance the desire for investment, new development and increased taxes in local coffers with an acknowledgement of our responsibility to ensure that our plans and implementation tools are improving the lives of all residents in our communities.
MAP’s 2020 Spring Institute delivers the national experts, state leaders, and local stories that reveal the solutions we can scale to our own communities. Learn about non-profit and philanthropic partnerships that are infusing our policies with innovative approaches that uplift and inspire; about the data planners need to make evidence based decisions; about national programs that are tackling equitable development in tangible ways.
